Understanding Societal Needs in Disaster Recovery
In March of 2016, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign hosted the International Workshop on Climate Change and its Impact: Risks and Inequalities. The featured speaker was The Honorable Mary Robinson, President of the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice. She served as President of Ireland from 1990-1997 and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights from 1997-2002. The Foundation has prepared a number of position papers, three of which can be found here:
